Not too terribly sore, surprisingly.  Refocused on good running form after seeing the difference it can really make!

How are you not sore? I can hardly make it down the stairs. Payback for me I guess for bragging to certain runners after Wasatch Back last year that I didn't get sore at all after that relay. I guess you need steeper legs then next year so you can suffer like the rest of us...

Just enjoyed reading your race report from the relay. Take a bow Dale, great piece of running. Now...just a bit of worked needed on your off road driving skills. :-)

From Dale on Mon, Jul 28, 2008 at 09:55:24

Cody: Uh, perhaps it's because I ran 1 leg and 10 miles LESS than you did? Oh, and I was a sub-light speed, not warp factor 5? Just sayin!

From Dale on Mon, Jul 28, 2008 at 09:58:53

Ian: Yes, I think I do need some driving lessons. Perhaps you should fly out next year to run this one with us? We could put you behind the wheel!

Glad to hear you're feeling pretty good so soon after the relay. I really enjoyed your race report, sounds like you guys had a wild and exciting time!

From Ian on Tue, Jul 29, 2008 at 07:07:27

Putting me behind the wheel would not be a good option. I overturned a timber lorry trailer in North Wales in a similar situation to yours.
