LM warmup, 7.29 miles in 57:27, 7:53/mi, HR 156 & stretching.

After resting foot for 3 days and getting most of the pain to recede, tried to jump back into the schedule with an easy 8 miles today.  Fine until about 6 miles in and then foot started hurting again.  Quit at the house and punted on the remaining .7 to get an even 8.  Not feeling too bad afterwards, so perhaps some ice will help matters.

Bummer about your foot. Have you seen a doc about it? I have a similar pain in my left foot caused by a morton's neuroma. A cortisone shot brought me a few months of relief, but now it's flaring up again.

No doc yet.....Frankly, haven't found them to be particular helpful if its a minor injury, which i'm still hoping for at this point. Definitely not a neuroma as its too far back and on the outside of the foot. It might be PF but its in a strange spot for that. It could also just be the pounding the outside of my feet take, because of my gait. Whatever it is, hopefully the rest and some additional stretching/strengthening will help.

I'm glad it's not too serious. Hopefully you will be fully recovered and kickin' my butt again in the 15k on the 26th.
