Got the MRI results today from the doctor....labral tear in my left hip.  Got a steroid shot in the hip capsule (as much fun as it sounds) so that we're sure this is the *real* problem and a follow up with the surgeon for the end of the month.  Despite the findings, I'm estatic that we know what it is and its fixable.  Does that make me crazy?

That explains why stretching and strengthening wasn't helping much. You are one crazy guy for running 100 miles with a labral tear, by the way! Congrats on getting an accurate diagnosis finally.

Glad you could have some peace at last!

Good luck getting that tear taken care of. I think this is what I had the first part of the year although I never got an MRI to verify. It took a while to heal up but seems to be good as new now.
